Fish ID.

Post by NinjaFish »

Can someone tell me what this is?

This is about the 3rd I've caught in the last few months and always let them go.

I can't seem to find it on the species charts.

Cheers Flickin.

That's what I told the crew when they asked, but then doubted myself as I hadn't seen one for a few years.

I know I've caught Mother in laws before but must be getting oldtimers or something.

I do hook some weird fish sometimes though and scratch my head before throwing them back and forgetting about them.

They eat 'em in Queensland, it has been said it depends where they come from.
