Mate caught one off the boat ramp, there is also a rocky bit to cast from on left of the ramp by 500m or so.
However Manton LB is a great way to waste time and not catch anything, good if you need to think about something at length without interruption
When the dam spills the creek under the spillway can produce a few.

I started the same comments last night and deleted them.
The boat ramp's a great place for a beer, contemplation and endless casting practice for me.
