There is is a new weather site and app called Fish Ranger which has been getting very popular in eastern states and just getting known now in the NT. It is best in breed and provides land and marine forecasts (ie forecasts over open water). It's designed especially for fishermen and makes up for shortcomings in Willyweather, Seabreeze, MetEye, Buoyweather, Windfinder etc. in terms of the quality of forecast data (most of those listed use American data) and the features it provides.
Fish Ranger uses BoM's best forecast data and aggregates it so everything is on a page - wind, wave height, swell, air pressure, cloud cover, water temp, tide times, sun and moon times, and more.
Wind3D shows live wind from all nearby weather stations overlaid on the forecast at those stations. Live readings include average speed and gust speed (willyweather only shows average speed overlays)
It's got a lot of locations listed already but if you want another you can easily request it.
Check it out: http://www.fishranger.com.au
or download the app
(I've attached one of their wind charts)
It's free too
