Went for a cruise in KAOS Saturday in the harbour, launched at Elizabeth, havnt been out for a while and thought we would have a go
the young feller Jordan has been slaying them and got some pretty good ones over the last few weeks.
the tide was dropping fast and we had a bit of fun on the outgoing landing a heap of small ones as well as a Keeper just over 60
a little rat after missing a few bigger ones, it was fun to have them feeding around the boat
we caught a few other species as well, small Goldies, cod and a couple of different species of Flathead, one of them was big enough to take home
if we were down south but we already had a Barra and were planning on a couple more later.
As the tide started pushing in the Barra started to feed again and we were lucky enough to get another one to take home just on 60cm
missed a couple and young Alex got one that wasn't quite big enough, gave him a good tussle though
Another great day out and a couple of nice Barra for dinner, no red tags dammit
there were plenty of fish there and some good sized ones too, bet there was one amongst them

If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!
Especially when you can see them!

Nice work 86 There's definitely plenty of Barra in the harbour at the moment. As you say, some better fish among them too. Now for that red tag............

Good to see the young fellas out amongst em. Well done .
Plenty there but getting them to bite can be a bit of a game of experimentation sometimes ..... they may have wanted one of the other hundred lures we all take out for a drive.

Good effort catching those fish and parking your boat at that spot!
