Golden snapper at Elizabeth river bridge!!!

Post by goldfish »

Dropped in for a look at the Elizabeth river highway bridge on my way back in from Katherine this afternoon. It was appalling to see the broken glass and other rubbish everywhere even in the harder to access areas. But this took the cake 3 goldies gutted and left to rot on the banks. WTF. ... :hunting:

Seems like there's no common sense or respect anymore and picking up your rubbish seems to be the exception of the rule rather than the normal thing to do.

Almost ashamed to call myself a fisherman.
..... almost.

No wonder the greenies carry on that we're a bunch of fish murdering grubs when this is the image we are putting out to society. Lift your game fellas!

I know we don't all do this but it only takes one to ruin it for the rest.
Probably bl..dy knobhead tourists.!

Found 4 lures so wasn't all bad, they can leave as many rapalas behind as they want....

Should see the mess at Howard river iron bridge and surrounds left by the feral quad riders and associates.
Fishing is not a matter of life and death, it is far more serious than that.
