Go to BTC and get a tube of "the locals' stuff.
I swear by the stuff.
they also sell a spray but its a repellant as well- I don't think its as good as DEET but it works
I keep a spray bottle in the door console so I can spray the odd bite while travelling
but the cream is the go for a few bites.
after maybe 20 mins you will have forgotten about the bite
additional applications may be necessary

MOST IMPORTANT - DONT SCRATCH - EVER.

youre welcome :)

Although scratching feels good, its the aftermath that bothers me when you have blood streaming down your legs

The worst thing about scratching, is once you start you can't stop.... Right up to that moment when the blood starts.

While you are all on the subject about bites what works on ginger ant bites to calm them down.I hate the b@st@rds
The past is history, the future is mystery, the moment is a gift and that's why it's called the present
