12 volt fans for use in boats? Recommendations..
Has anyone got any recommendations on 12 volt fans suitable for use for overnighters in boats?
I have always used cheap ones purchased from super cheap autos or Ebay but I need a new one and thought maybe someone might have come across something better than the budget varieties I have used in the past.
Cheers

I use the Ryobi 18v Battery job , runs about 15 hrs on a 4amp.
I take 2 batts for a w/nd trip plus the same battery system runs all the power tools
as well .

Caframo make a little one that pushes a ton of air, the blades spin so fast they suck the mozzies in and kill them. I got up one morning and there was a pile of them a few cm deep on the floor below the fan. BTC stock them

Look for caravan fans. All the "camping" ones were poop and didn't push enough air.
I got one from Bcf awhile ago, pushes good air. Anaconda do some with build in batteries, but I have not tried them yet.
Jeffish, you get a good run time out of your fan, my makita on a 3 ah battery only gets about 3.5 hrs.

We use the Carframo fan (as mentioned above)
The carframo moves a heap of air and only draws 0.4 amps. You can run them forever.
The hella 12v turbo fan is good too, draws a fukall 0.2 amps! Less air as the carframo but still awesome. No rear guard thou.
These two fans are the best on the market for current draw.
