HI All,
Just wondering if anyone has had much luck with the Cherabin at Mary River Bridge, have given it a go a few times with not to much luck, maybe 1 or 2 out of 7 pots over a couple of days.
Any tips for here, or am i just wasting my time?

not sure you are allowed cherabin pots in there are you???? I was under the impression corroboree was ok as it is on private land but didn't think the bridge billabong was. Any clarification from someone in the know on that one.

Be interesting to know, i have whacked the pots in there for 10 years or more now and nearly every time i have been down there people have had pots out, no signage saying pots not allowed either.
Cheers,
Brad

Sounds like you should know where the chebs are in the place then. If you haven't found them by now im not sure you ever will!A_Nomad wrote:Be interesting to know, i have whacked the pots in there for 10 years or more now and nearly every time i have been down there people have had pots out, no signage saying pots not allowed either.
I would how ever say that it would fish better for cherabine while it was in flood and the water was moving more though! they seem to go into pots more in moving water or tidal rivers ie the Adelaide, Daly, Roper, ect I have seen hundreds of cherabin in non flowing water before but caught none in the set pots.
