I've coped a few waves that could almost be considered submersion. haha. If you could at least disable that feature that would be good. At a modest 45 km/h you are travelling at 12.5 m/s so by the time you hit the water you will be 15m from the boat which should also activate it.jeffish wrote:Thats a thought Dan , reckon it would have to be submersion activated .

I don't wear mine when I am casting at pelagics. But some sometimes this can be pretty sketchy in sloppy waters. Being able to wear one of these would be pretty desirable.
I guess for that matter, if ruff seas are going to cause a problem you could disconnect and revert to the lanyard as you are going to remain at the helm in these conditions.
