Darwin (and the NT) shouldn't have its growth restricted like it has been. The only voices you hear against this are the "not in my backyard" types who in the same breath either complain about how expensive the NT is or boast about how much their block is now worth

I wonder which pollie has themself tied up in the Noonamah Ridge deal and how much they stand to gain from it
It's all about money and don't kid yourself otherwise. They put all the infrastructure and a substation to build Weddell Ask yourself why it's not going ahead
The pollies up here are nothing short of being parasites along with the real estate agents
