Can't buy/catch a decent Garfish to save myself so belly strips it is tomorrow. :lol:

Last time I was in the seafood shop in Nightcliffe they had kilo bags of gar frozen, was a fair while ago though
fish are skinny, the ocean is fat

Didn't raise a scale in 8 hours of trolling. That's fishing sometimes. The Macks loved them though. I've used belly strips before, they work fine, just alot of messing around to rig them right. Best if salted first and it takes alot of prep to get the strips right.
