I really think this round should be re named "the build up" round. A lot more of that happening than run off.

Almost forgot to enter! This 61cm fish was taken from the Daly on a green reidy's rubber. Was glad to get a few on the first trip on the boat since the baby was born in November.

Solo run to the Daly, 95cm caught on a berkley paddle tail shad (thanks Matt ) rigged on a weedless hook grubbed along the bottom.

Some great fish there everyone, well done

Better get my act together and get out on the weekend, don't want
To start off the season with a doughnut
If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!

Especially when you can see them!

Trip out to Bynoe Harbour today. Looked a bit ominous when I checked the radar at 5:30 this morning but decided to have a look any way. After a bit of early drizzle and breeze things settled down and it turned out to be a nice day on the water. Best fish for the day was this 70cm caught on a gold B52.

Donuts for me this month. Actually it's been donuts for me on the Barra front for months on end. :banghead: Got a couple down the Daly, but only 50-60cms, so didn't take a pic, expected bigger. :bonk:

Here's to hoping things turn around in March!

I have fished once in the past 13 weeks. And that was a Barry Crocker. Hopefully make amends Friday over night

Went out for a last ditch effort for a red tag and also to try an avoid a donut to start the year.
Got this one at 71cm and dropped another that would have maybe been legal. In the Hudson.

Taking selfies with a fish is tough... and look at all those jelly prawns I get to clean up...
