Yellowbelly
Doing the rellie run down south and the young fella got a 45 cm yellow belly from the lake in Beechworth in north east Vic. His first yella so he is happy with ticking off another species. This little lake is also stocked with rainbow trout and trout cod.

Re: Yellowbelly
Nice little time waster there. Could spend a few hours flicking the lake.

Re: Yellowbelly
I enjoyed the slime while filleting. He enjoyed it cooked and delivered on a plate. It actually cooked up pretty well (crumbled and pan fried) only had a little bit of fat on it, didn't taste muddy, weedy or greasy at all, (despite having a guts full of mud).
