Back in Katherine, this time with a fishing rod!

Post by fisherman666 »

Hey guys and girls,

I left Katherine in 2007 but that was a life before fishing. I was right into dirt bikes back then.

I'll be moving back very soon but this time with a case of the fishing bug. Been 'properly' into fishing for 3-4 years now. Not that I've had that much success.

Have an older Stacer 4.5m ally boat converted to centre console and 50hp two stroke.

Looking forward to exploring my new 'local' spots ie Roper, Daly, etc. I'm sure I'll be asking for advice soon enough and who knows I hope to post some of the rewards when I crack the code hahaha.

Cheers, Drew!

Just came back from a trip down your way, loads of good fishing country around Katherine. About 24 years ago I lived in Katherine and used to swim at Knotts Crossing after the pub closed, only now do I realise how bl..dy stupid that was.

Good luck with your fishing adventures
