Fishing at night

Post by esox »

Hello, I read on the net that, at this period the sunset in Darwin is at 6:30pm... Is so far from the 9:40pm in France ...
What species can I fishing during the night ?

And I'll arrive the next week, if anyone else is interested to go fishing with a frenchie , don't hesitate to contact me :)

Many fish to catch at night here mate. Most of the pelagic's go off the chew at night but there is plenty of others that fish better in the dark. If you're land-based look around the jetties and pontoons under the lights.

I'd be happy to take you out for a fish in the boat one day mate. Once a nice bloke showed me how to catch (small) fish and shellfish in France so I'll repay the kindness to his countrymen.

Dusk , dawn and nights are the most productive periods for fishing. That period of low light makes predatory fish come and to play and they lose there inhabition to hit lures and take baits.
