Well like so many fisho's new to the NT, I really struggled to find any fish when I first started. I spent many trips out in mates boats catching fish, but donuts when I was the skipper.
I bought my boat 12 months ago and after many $$$$ spent, and sleepless nights trying to work out where I was going wrong, I have finally managed to get a few nice fish in the boat and had some good feeds. I've also had some big lures getting smashed, and either pulling the hooks, or never being seen again so I know there are some monsters out there just waiting for me. I had a fish jumping beside the boat with my huge gold lure still in its mouth on Saturday, so if anyone catches it can you please return it to me!
I never got too disenheartened, as I knew all I needed was a little bit of luck. And how can you have a bad day on the water up here. Hopefully my photos do justice to some of the great spots I have seen in these awesome conditions.
Here are a few samples from recent trips to the Gunn Point Blue Holes, Lee Point, East Point, Larrakeyah Rock Wall and Woods Inlet.

Well done mate, some very nice tasting fishes there. Gotta love them coral trouts.
