I'll fish when I think the tides, weather family life and time off comes together. I rarely fish just because I have time these days. The Amount of rain will change where I fish though, but it won't stop me (unless it's torrential) The fish don't dissappear with a cr.p wet season, they are just caught in different areas and by different ways. All part of the learning process that is fishing.
And I caught some ripper fish, and got some ripper donuts

Work is more of a problem then an average wet season. Its too much work, then its not enough work!

If anything I found the fishing better this year than the past two or three wets. Still nowhere near as good as 4 or 5 years ago.

Have to agree with manpower
Had a couple of ripper trips to Shady, best for years
Maybe just right place right time
The Bluewater was still just as good though, and with the early rain I reckon there is more bait around the Perons than I have seen for a few years

If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!
Especially when you can see them!
