Hi guys, just moved here from the Gold Coast and really keen to catch some barra. Where do I go this time of year?

Shady barrage land based. Push in tide, look for bait and use squidgy mongrels. Otherwise live bait the flats/rocky headlands on a calm day if you have a boat.

Cheers! Don't have a boat unfortunately. Hopefully will make some friends up here with boats.

Shady for sure. Also cahills crossing. The smallest squishy you can get. Black and gold slow retrieve. Be prepared to get some snags.

Hi Barra Miss ,your off to a great start being involved here.. Grab yourself a copy of the fish finder mag. Search the forum there some good posts for land based such as this one. Wont take you long to find a friend or two with a boat. Good luck and dont forget to post your metery photos
