I've fished Simms around 8 or 9 times, on neaps and on springs, during the day and at night and I've never been able to do very well there?! I've caught the usual small snapper one ock packs but never anything to write home about!
When's the the best time/tide to fish Simms?

swamp_ donkey, Its the first time I fished it in a long time but reckon it fished well
towards the top of the tide with the 3mt movement , a lot of different ground there
just need look around to find the fish. I don't think it was the best tide to try it on as
the water was still very dirty from the springs ,maybe a building tide after the neaps
would work well , just gotta try again I reckon . Plenty of other spots around there
as well .

I'm sure others on here Know the reef better than me
