I am just re reading my recently returned collection of Australian anglers FW circa 1972 to the late 90s. Very somber reading at times there are some fantastic names of scribes no longer with us Calcutt Pearson and so many more sadly now another giant to add to the list.

If that's Ron Pearson you're referring to, he is very much alive, least ways he tells me he isAM wrote:I am just re reading my recently returned collection of Australian anglers FW circa 1972 to the late 90s. Thanks for straightening me out on that one Dick. I was certain I had seen a piece by another great Ross Cussack celebrating his life. Very glad to hear that this ground breaker in all forms of the art is still with us please pass on my humble apology and regards. Your a very fortunate man to walk in shadows of this ilk.

Might have been Max Garth you were thinking about AM. He foisted off his mortal coil somewhere about mid last year.
