Barras are biting

Post by Matt Flynn »

Some great barra and threadfin being caught at Shady Camp, both in the bays and in the creeks.

Trick is to fish outside before the wind comes up and then come into the river when the breeze blows in.

Been meteries caught, and some stonkin' threadies.

Just be careful with the dates, at the moment it is only proposed to open the closed seasons it hasn't been passed through any legislation. This means that it will still be a closed season and normal penalties will apply if you are caught fishing theses areas.
Fish stories told here....some true !!!

When in doubt...exaggerate !!

On the Tinny this morning they mentioned a short closed period, like two weeks or four weeks only.
