Sturgen fishing vancouver

Post by blowski »

Hi guys,
Thought I would put this up...
Flew into vancouver for a spot of stergon fishing, wow what a day... We worked hard and dropped a lot of fish, they jump clean out of the water like a barra and throw the hooks, including the big ones up to 10ft! Crazy...

Anyway 15 minutes from the end of the day I hook this Goliath, first run 200m of line gone in less than 6seconds, 1 hour and 30 minutes later, 6km of river later we get a look...

250cm 400pounds!

Sensational, well done!

My mate got a 200lber last year but nowhere near as solid as that D12!!! Just an awesome fish, terrific to know conservation efforts are giving mother nature a hand to replenish their stocks.
