G'day all.... going to give the harbour a crack at night fishing tomorrow night. Dose any body know of a good spot to drop a line? Old mate has got some coordinates over near mandorah some where for goldies and dew fish! Am going to give the navy barracks rock wall a looksy aswell, but if any body knows of a spot that has potential would be good... putting the boat in around 4 pm and hopefully pull up out at 11 pm or until we catch fish lol

All the above spots sound fine mate. Any of the wrecks in the fish finder hold fish from time to time as well. Use your sounder is my best tip. I drive around in the above locations and find a lump of rock that has a show of fish. Marks are good for an indication of a general area but majority of the time they wont be the golden goose! Anchoring so the boat is exactly on the spot is the next trick. Miss the mark by 10m and you might as well be 1000 miles away.

Flat rock just off of talc head is a good spot for some decent sized snapper and goldies. Just fish it's edges. Best of luck mate. Coordinates are in FF magazine.

What a night... 2 jewies 2 goldies and a cod.... old mate hooked on to a submarine but lost it.... we belived it was a big jewi, got cut off on some structure. ... just took it easy on the way home as you could surf the waves lol
