Kalumburu fishing tides moon etc

Post by jd480 »

Gday All,

First post and asking for advice... hopefully be able to contribute some day.

We returned from a trip to port warrender North west of Kununurra last year with next to no fish for 8 days effort only to find out the guys the week before us cleaned up!!!

i am told the fish were off the chew due to the Moon and tides. any advice on which moon and and tides to chase???

Not much movement up there, 3m abut the max..

Cheers in advance

I don't know but it would make sense to check the dates a week before you were there and then refer to a tide chart for the area for those dates. Take those tides and moon and apply to this years chart.

Here a bit of help the Tide Chart for Geranium Harbour which is another name for Port Warrender, where Kalumburu is http://www.tides4fishing.com/au/western ... um-harbour

This will give you all the mail you need tide times, sun up and set, moon rise and set and peak fishing times.
