Sandpalms is a good place to stay if you're heading to the fresh, quiet relaxed pub cheap meals only about 500m from hardcastle rd turn off
fish are skinny, the ocean is fat

Finniss fresh ramp is a proper concrete one, 6pack creek isnt far from sandpalms but you need about 3 m to launch as it ends with a drop off, 6 pack enters bynoe at the base of Indian Island, maybe 5-6km from the ramp to the mouth

The ramp is extended a year or two ago you can launch well below that. Although if the driver stays at the wheel I have pulled out there before extension at less than one meter. Dundee downs is great to stay as we'll. only a km from 6pack but no food or pub.itsinmeblood wrote:Finniss fresh ramp is a proper concrete one, 6pack creek isnt far from sandpalms but you need about 3 m to launch as it ends with a drop off, 6 pack enters bynoe at the base of Indian Island, maybe 5-6km from the ramp to the mouth

Cheers, I'd be p...ed if they'd extended the other ramp and I'd been hurrying out there for no reason to catch the tide...
