G'day thetimpsons,

I checked out your photos on the other site. What was the story behind the submerging of edgerapa 2?

well we were at bare sand island in bynoe harbour and we parked the boat in the channel for the night and as the tide went down the boat stuck to the mud and as the tide came in the boat filled up and sat there like a sinker. but the rebuild was good and it is back on the water ready to catch some fish!!

Your rig

Post by elkerr »

Hey SNAFU,
how do you find your boat. My Father-in-law bought one. I find that getting it on the trailer somtimes is hard, being side console it tends pop off the rollers when you drive it on. Everything else is excellent though.
Cheers Ellen Kerr

Nice rig S.N.A.F.U.

The 4.55 is a nice size boat and the 4 stroke will help out on getting some range for you.

Ellen
I have only had it on the water once so far but managed to drive it straight up on the trailer with no problem and that was at Buffalo Ck on Saturday night with an out going tide. Not owning a side console before i found it easy as i could see the edge of the trailer and just lined it up from there.
But I have only had a tiller steer before As far as the boat handling I couldn't fault it. The Honda 50 was really fuel efficient. We spent the whole day in Shoal Bay, trolling Meckitts and a quick spin out to the rock and the fuel gauge hardly moved.

Matt

Dex,
Cheers mate. Still I wouldn't mind swapping for your GS.

Great boat. I have had a TABS now for about 3 mouths love it. Plate boat bloodly heavy. 4mm bottom, 3mm sides but goes great and sits will.

have put a bow mount on it now, one of the motorguide wireless models 24 volt. and love it to.

hate paying it off!!!!

heres a few pics of my new boat a 560 wr barcrusher it has a 140 suzuki on the back which gives atop speed of 65 ks its very soft riding and i can cofortabley cruise at 48-50 ks in 1 meter chop without having to stand up.being a deep vee i had trim tabs fitted which certainly keeps her on the staight and narrow, the t-top folds back into the boat so i can store her under the car port,210 litre fuel tank, plumbed live bait tank, sarca anchor and clip set up are some of its features they also come with 120 and 60 litre eskis.this is my third boat i have own and my best
