Tips for mandora jetty?

Hi guys going to mandora jetty this weekend (by ferry) and need some tips. It will me my first time fishing there and any info would be appreciated :D

There was a story about some folks losing their gear over an incident with the local natives, be careful.

Live sardines on a float or small bits of prawn dropped into the stair way

yeah that was myself with the locals .. gotta thank them in the long run .. beyond the life threating environment of the time . i got all new fishing gear out of it.

but yeah if it looks like trouble leave.

tide's are poop this weekend, but you'll get away with throwing lure's around for queenie's/GT's
