Well peoples, the house renno is 99% complete. 26th Jan Chanos and partner are hitting the road for 6 months of R an R and some fishing, catching up with mates and rellies down south. February will be spent on Kangaroo island kickin back and hopefully showin the locals how to catch big red on softies albeit best I catch one on a softie first. The rest of the trip will be up the east coast slow time to Cairns then back here to start work again mid August. I know I will miss the run off but there plenty more to come. I will stay in touch and see whats happening here.
Regards Chanos.

Six months of R and R, now we need a jealousy forum.
Good luck with those SA reds, watch out for the big reds on the roads.

gone south
well chanos and partner hit the road last wed. Finished the house at 0630, packed and gone at 1130 after selling my 4wd. Trip down was good with a detour to the rock, bit of a joke there, couldnt climb it as too hot for the tourists. Declined the 50 bucks to go and have a look and decided to head straight for Adelaide. Ariived adelaide Saturday night and did the social stuff for the last 2 days. Went beach worming today to relive some childhood memories....... things have changed in the last 30 years or so. Didnt see one worm . Anyway, heading off to kangaroo island next week for some more rest, beer and fishing so hopefully into some big reds. Till next installment, catchas next time and don't y'all catch too many barras eh.
chanos and co on the road.

Fishing is not a matter of life and death, it is far more serious than that.

Glad the boat is going well Kevin.
Worked on the brother in laws new boat getting it ready for the KI trip, took it out this morn and the Volvo inboard woul;dnt go over 2000 rpm, just blew heaps of black smoke so out of the water and back home for a check up. Turbo was seized so took a chance and whacked a socket on it and gave it a bit of turn, nothing to loose, turbo freed up nicley and this mornings sea trial so the boat cruising along sweet as. Anyway, need a fishing fix bad so cant wait to get to the island, bit sick of all this social and family stuff. Ok people, catchas all next time.
