Just returned from a trip to Exmouth WA. Ive put together a video of the highlights.
All fish were caught on Shanes Doevy's awesome Wind Ons. They have never let me down.

Awesome footage mate, just out of interest what's the best time of year for the Billies there? Planning to do a trip there next year but unsure of when to go, Would be pretty chuffed with your results. Did you manage a Grand Slam at all?
Cheers,
John.

John
Exmouth has Billies all year round but the Blues and Stripeys seem to arrive in numbers around October and stay though to Jan Feb.
The weather tends to be better in the cooler months say March onwards according to the locals. The wind in November has been strong the last two years that Ive visited.
We did not manage a Slam but had a ball chasing Blues. A slam is definately a possibility as they are all there. Its the best Marlin fishing that Ive ever seen.
If you have any other questions when your planning your trip im happy to help as much as I can.
Cheers Pete

Looks like I've found where I'm going to retire then.......Faulksy wrote:John, Exmouth has Billies all year round
Mate, thanks for the heads up. Have caught plenty of Blacks and Sails now so Blues and Sripes are next on the bucket list. Was planning to hopefully take a month off in Sep/Nov next year doing a week in Broome and the remainder in Exmouth. Will drop you a pm and catch up once the move back to Darwin is done.
Cheers,
John.
