NSW trailer - do I need to transfer rego to NT?

Post by yakfish »

The regos due for my small tinny trailer in NSW, do I need to transfer it up here? It's only 2 odd years old, RTA doesnt need to inspect it so I could just pay the rego there rather than go through the rigmarole of transfering it.

You must change over your interstate registration and driver licence to Northern Territory registration and licence within three (3) months of taking up residence in the Northern Territory.

wot he said. Just remember that if you dont change over after 3 mths you are deemed to be unregistered - there is a lot of poop that goes with that when it turns to cr.p
