Bynoe 27/10/2013

Post by robertnewland90 »

Hi fellas

It appears the fish were chasing my boat in bynoe today, with over 20+ fish landed, 4 double hook ups throughout the day on Trevalley and queenies. We also saw about 200 turtles near Quail Island (must be breeding season??) At one stage we were just flicking at a school of queenies when the the sounder started going nuts so we decided to do a bit of jigging for Trevalley in about 4m of water. About 10 minutes into it and after about 6-7 fish caught and released, I was not really paying attention to what I was doing as my mate was fighting a fish when my jig got nailed by a 52cm Goldie. I was holding my rod with only my right hand when he struck so I nearly snapped my wrist. All in all was a great day got a little windy about 1300 So we headed back up the creeks about then to collect the pots and get a feed of crabs. No fish up the creeks for us. Water Clarity was good and made the sight fishing very exciting. :catch:

Regard Rob
