First Gladstone Barra

Post by Ibbsy »

Sean and myself went for a spin after work today to have a crack at some barra now the water is warming up. We head upstream on the Boyne. Start off well landing a fish in the first few minutes. Slowly cruised with the electric and Sean was onto his first Gladstone Barra. Nice fish going 75cm.. Ended up being a good couple of hours landing 6 fish all up.

nice!, have you had a fish around the hotwater outlet on the calliope yet?
fish are skinny, the ocean is fat

Awesome fish guys. Have a look at Johnny Mitchells website, he is a local guide who is more than happy to give advice.
