Testing my new leccy - Video Added

Post by Aaron G »

18LBS OF THRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUST!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jarvis Walker Electric mounted on my 2.3m Ocky Kayak :smoking:
Always wanted to try this.......

So took it out this arvo too East Point.

.....weather was a little rough and windy

But nothing could curb the enthusiasm.

Was planning to test it by trolling a couple of lures and see how fast it goes????

Darwin's Tides pushed it to it's little leccy limit
plus wind.........
Started off cutting donuts and ultimately going no where,

Lowered the electric to its lowest position and was back in business :D

I will let the video do the talking...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlR1RSY3 ... e=youtu.be

PS think I'll stick with paddle power oppose to electric power in the future :|

Cheers

Used to have a fibreglass Basshunter canoe (aussie made) that had a transom for a minnKota had a 30lb thrust that worked a treat. Bit more stable.

Crack up Aaron. I was a Gyro Gearloose fan as a kid too.
" YOUTH is a GIFT "
"AGE is an ART "
"Doesn't mean you get any smarter..just wrinkled and cracked".

"No angler watches nature in a passive way...He enters into its very existence." (John Bailey...Reflections on a Waters Edge)

"Govern a Family as you would catch a small fish....Very Gently." (Chinese Proverb)

"Only those become weary of angling who bring nothing to it but the idea of catching fish." (Rafael Sabatini...1857-1950)

I pray that one day God sends me a fish so big that, when talking of it...I have no reason to lie.
