Fuel Tank Hose Glue

Post by craig.g »

After some advice if anyone can help, getting George a NT Uunique to reweld base of seat post back on, turns out once floor was lifted some welds on ribs also need George's attention.
Now i need to remove fuel tanks and was wondering if anyone knows what type of glue to use on hoses which attach to fuel tank when they go back in.

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers
Craig

Never heard of glueing hoses on mate. Stainless steel hose clamps should be sufficient.

I agree with using clamps. If something goes wrong much easier to take on and off.

Stag is the go. No drama later on if removing hoses. Give it time to settle after fitment.

Any ideas on who may sell stag glue in Darwin as it's a pain in the arse to lift the deck and i realise it's probably overkill but i don't want to lift it again unless i really have to, so overkill it is
