I saw a man holding one on his open palm at Shelly bch in Manly years ago. I knocked it from him
He had NFI what it was and it was flashing. They are pretty little things

There are heaps up here, on the big spring low tide you will see the fisheries research guys down at channel island doing a survey of the rock holes.

The first recorded death from a Blue Ringed occy was in Darwin at East Point in the 50's.
