Power trim and tilt without a thought. Ive done it the tough way, start out no frills and move up but it is well worth the extra $$$$.

Defiantly want the ptt worth the cash in the long run. You'll be heaving the motor around saying gees I wish I got the ptt. Mines a 60 yammy and have absolute faith in it. Quiet too. I haven't tried others so I can't really compare.

Hey mate, I had a 75 merc 4 stroke,I found it was a big motor for a 75 then i did the upgrade on my hull to rate it for a 100. I choose the 90 Suzi great motor, as I was living remote and fuel prices were $2.75ltr having the new suzi was good on both fuel and reliability. Love the Suzi
good luck....
good luck....

Re: Which brand of engine?
I've got a 40hp 4 Stroke Mariner on my 410 Salmon, it's been with the boat since new and it's worked a treat, only a little setup but it hooks along. I give it an annual service after every major trip I do, whether it be to the Roper, Towns river and it's still going.
But I guess that's the same with any brand, look after it, get it serviced frequently and it wont let you down.
Oh yeah, I too have power tilt and trim, ain't no other way to it but to do it!
