thats it near the limestone rocks!! pretty nasty place there at Trigg sometimes!!!

If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!

Especially when you can see them!

Big feller called Ralph, used to take me out on his shoulders, local cop from Wagin later on York. ASS kicker extraordinaire when we mucked up.
" YOUTH is a GIFT "
"AGE is an ART "
"Doesn't mean you get any smarter..just wrinkled and cracked".

"No angler watches nature in a passive way...He enters into its very existence." (John Bailey...Reflections on a Waters Edge)

"Govern a Family as you would catch a small fish....Very Gently." (Chinese Proverb)

"Only those become weary of angling who bring nothing to it but the idea of catching fish." (Rafael Sabatini...1857-1950)

I pray that one day God sends me a fish so big that, when talking of it...I have no reason to lie.

Over the W.A. Day long weekend last year, my Bro Steve and his wife Anna, took a trip up to Horrocks Beach. Over the weekend they managed to hook 24 honking tailor, of which they landed 16 which ranged from 50cm all the way up to 75cm, biggest I've ever seen! Steve even spied a school of rather large tailor chilling out in the shollow reefs when he went snorkling, he got a vid of them, pretty amazing to see them.
The major surpise of the trip was when he did a spot of night fishing and unexpected landed an 11kg Dhuie from the beach! People only imagine catching a Dhuie of this size from the boat let alone from the shore!
