Hey guys,

I have received a few emails from people interested in hearing a bit more about my old role when I use to electrofish for the State Government. So I have decided to put a blog together, explaining this role in a bit more detail.

I am an aquatic ecologist by trade and I’m not going to lye to you....it was a bl..dy awesome job! Getting paid to monitor fish populations around much of this great state of ours! We did work in the Fitzroy, Nogoa, Mackenzie, Dawson, Isaac, Connors, Burnett, Mary, Thompson, Barcoo, Pioneer, O’Connell and Andromache rivers.

I hope some of you may find it of interest.

Yes sure was mate, from memory it went 125cm. The biggest we ever encountered was a massive 132cm.
