NTMAG Friday fishing report

Superb Darwin weather forecast for the weekend. Big tides this weekend, going to neaps next weekend.

Reports from the Darwin tackle shops ...

Small sails off Dundee, plus loads of pelagics.
Spanish macks in and around Darwin Harbour, and at Fentons.
Snapper off Larrakeyah and Six Mile Buoy.
Leaders Creek Fishing Base says road is open but a 1km stretch is woeful, big barra on sounder in creek but not biting.
Goat Island says there is no decent run-off but barra are starting to come on after weeks of not much action.
Roper River dropping fast and has already produced big fish.
Daly dropping fast but road closed.
South Alligator, no reports but might be worth a look.
Charles Wide and Bass Reef have produced snapper.

Tip - harbour has been producing barra, so might be no need to travel far for a barra. Harbour pelagics will improve as the tides neap out. Try Six Mile reefs on turn of tide for a snapper or two.
