Launched at sun up - three trailers in the car park, low tide at bridge was 7:30am. Headed down to Scotts - mucky grey water coming out - my deckie picked up a rat on a rubber.
Headed upstream chasing the tide. p..s poor colour changes at most creeks with the river water pushing backwards up the creeks with the incoming tide. Bugger all bait around.
Found some clean water up on the flood plains, and I managed my one fish the for day - 35cm!
Returned to the ramp at 1:30pm at high tide - water was a foot from flooding the car park. Probably should have stayed home, what with the river rising, but you never never know if you never never go.
cheers
