They aren't barramundi, but there's something great about the speckled fish ...

Went for a late flick this arvo, and got this photo ...

Jumped one off, a light coloured fish that went ballistic like little rainbows do ... but it was otherwise quiet.

It's not really the Daly, Lionel - although the top of the Daly does look like a trout river in places.

I was being deceptive with the title here, this river is a little further south ...
