FFF Seadogs comp - Thanks Craig's and KO
Went in to pick up my prizes from Craig's tackle and KO and I wanted to say a big thank you - the diwa coastal feels very smooth (as good as my zillon) and the tonic sunnies are sweet as - it was perfect timing As i just lost my last set of spotters - these new tonic ones are heaps better.
While I was in KO I also grabed a new jigg rod - they have graphite PE 2-3 jig rods with all Fuji real sets and guides for on special for only - $60. Light as and super strong.
Will post some pics of my first fish with the gear next week.
Jon

If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!
Especially when you can see them!

Re: FFF Seadogs comp - Thanks Craig's and KO
Best thing the winners can do is catch some great fish with the gear and post up some piccies, as that would repay the sponsors in spades
This would also help get the sponsors on board again next year
Special thanks to Craig and staff at Craig's Fishing Warehouse for sorting through many of the prizes for me after they were sent from all around Australia
Also thanks to ...
KO Tackle - Glen
In and Outboard Marine - Larry and Michael
Platypus - Stewart
Bozos - Phil
Daiwa - Brad
Tonic - Doug
Basser Millyard/JM Gillies - Sam and Billy
Rapala - Chris
Shimano - Drew
And to the many competitors who gave this new, untried event a go

No worries Matt, 86 made the mistake of leaving all his loot out on the dining table so I've commandeered some of the lures and possibly even the reel, hope to have some piccies to show soon! Cheers for all the organising and to the sponsors, it was fun just being a bystander watching the comp
Thank heavens I moved to the Territory, everything I love is here!

Re: FFF Seadogs comp - Thanks Craig's and KO
Hey guys, Well here is the spoils of war. My christmas definatly came early!
The only thing missing is the HDS 5 that was supplied by in and outboard marine because it has already been installed onto the tinny. I know it has been said but once again a massive thank you to all the sponsors of this comp and a big thanks to Matt for organising it all.
A special thanks to the local tackle boys CRAIGS FISHING WEAR HOUSE and BIG GLENN at KO TACKLE as well as Micheal and Larry at IN AND OUTBOARD MARINE. All shops have great and differing gear so dont be shy to have a look at them all as all sorts of treasures can be found.
The other sponsors that also need mentioning are
TONIC SUNNIES
RAPALA AUSTRALIA
PLATYPUS BRAID
SHIMANO
BOZOS
CLASIC LURES
OKUMA
FISH FINDER MAGS
If i missed anyone a big thankyou as well!
As for the comp it looks like it will be bigger and better next year with some interesting and exciting prizes to be won so dont be shy to give it a crack. Remember the comp was free and all of the above prizes and many more were the spoils. Look forward to next year! YEE HA!
Ps I look forward to testing all the gear in the near future so will let you know how it all goes and hope to post a few photos of some of the gear used! Of special interest is the KO Tackle wide spool bait caster reel "OCEAN MASTER OM 20HA". The reel holds 230m of 30lb braid. The reel is a bit bigger and heavier then other bait casters but should be awsome for jigging gulps or long trolling at places like Shady camp where you need to get the lure a bit further away from the motors due to all the traffic.
