went for a yabbie.last weekend.caugjt abt 100 and kept 40 to eat
cooked them up with chille and capisican
magnificent to eat !!!

Great feed of Cherax destructor.
The personal bag limit for these creatures in SA is 200 per day.
In the NT the redclaw (Cherax quadricanitus) (different cousin) & the Cherabin bag limits are 30 per boat (of either or combo).

im south smed !
just cook them in boiling water for 5 or 6 mins then peel the tails and put them in a pan with olive oil and chille
you can eat the claws also which taste good
