Nice work Barra Mick...both fish awesome. Did that marlin come from NT waters?

Sure did catch in NT waters.
caught on a TLD 15 with 15KG mono - on a shimanio backbone rod 10-15 kg.
skip gar with pink skirt.
caught about half an hour out of Gove harbour.
same as the sailfish. get alot more of them (sailfish) then marlin in Gove.

Here is my pb sail we estimated it to be around the 40 to 50 kg mark.

Havent got any pictures handy of any of mine but heres the one on my desk top of the missus PB

no monster but loads of fun had 3 in the boat by 08:30 and raised a heap but got to ruff so gave up trolling :surf:

Havn't got any from years back and still havn't landed any in the NT Yet, seen a few

Heres a small one from Broome, had fun, watched him go past the boat then dropped a gar back and he nailed it, on a charter though!!

Pitty we didn't get a few more that day!!

My PB, Length conversion chart had it at around 35-37kg.
