Harbour fish tomorrow (Wed) decky spot available

Post by Kimberlite »

Was heading to middle arm this morning but once over the Lizzy bridge the Channel Is ramp closed sign was up :x

Put in at Lizzy at midday for the low and poked around a bit. Didn't too to far down and just fished the flats and a couple of creek mouths.

Hung around one in particular which was brimming with bait. I landed one rat and there were a lot of other fish boofing but the Threadies were going beserk. They were nice 600-800mm fish and they were smashing the baitfish for a couple of hours. Tried trowing the net for some livies but being by myself in the boat it was a bit hard.

Nice day on the water though, a bit of cool breeze and some cloud cover to take the edge of the sun

Thinking about heading back out for tomorrows low but could do with a deckie....anyone? Send a PM

Cheers

Jim

We had no luck on the harbour on Sunday, fished the outgoing from high to low for zip. Heaps of blue salmon in West Arm, heaps of bait but nothing was touching our lures!

Well, that's a lie. I did catch a smiler trolling back through the chop :P

Had the same today theo.....lots of action around woods but no lure takers.....cept a cheeky flathead......went to creek in east ARM and dropped some bait for a brace of nice bream and javelin.

Hi Mud,
I didn't know that it was possible to have 'been out (fishing) too much lately' - sounds like your feminine side is asserting herself? :D

My feminine side said a similar thing this week when the topic of another long weekend awaassisting was mentioned. :bbad:

Hi Kimberlite,
Would love to go, but my fishing 'time slot' available would be too tight (kids to\from school, plus have to run a mate to the airport).
Cheers,

Ash
