Using Hollow Braid to make Pullon Leaders

Post by Paulus »

Hi Guys

I have been doing a lot of work on this for some time, I myself do not like making leaders so here is a method you can do yourself and use.

It's a simple Pullon Leader system that suits both solid and hollow braids.

No biminis or loops to make.

With this you premake them at home, when out fishing you just drop your mainline into a loop and pull it on, 2 Unis hold it in place.
This is the sort of thing that is fast and very strong, very slim so it easily slides through the guides and can be wound onto the spool.

To date the pressure serve needed a little equipment an time to do, but after a lot of experimenting I have overcome this.
Inserting the leader into the hollow was always difficult for some, but I have overcome this.

For the guys wanting to fish thin and very strong this is a great option, maybe going to full hollow may also be an option.

This is a work in progress, so things may change as simpler methods come to hand.
Read through, and follow the instructions, guide lines have been set.

I would prefer no copy and paste as I will be adding to it.
