SAS Troopers

Post by coastaljoy »

Who said there were no good stories in the newspaper anymore!

PERTH - An SAS trooper collecting toys for children was stabbed when he helped
stop a suspected shoplifter in east Perth .

The 'Toys-R-Us' Store Manager told 'The West Australian' that a man was seen on
surveillance cameras last Friday putting a laptop under his jacket at the store.

When confronted, the man became irate, knocked down an employee, pulled a knife
and ran toward the door.
Outside were four SAS Troopers collecting toys for the "Toys For Tots" program.

Smith said the Troopers stopped the man, but he stabbed one of them, in the back.
The cut did not appear to be severe.

The suspect was transported by ambulance to the Royal Perth Hospital with two
broken arms, a broken leg, possible broken ribs, multiple contusions and assorted
lacerations including a broken nose and jaw...
Injuries he apparently sustained when he tripped whilst trying to run after the stabbing.

One of the Troopers said, "He was a clumsy bastard."

Awesome. trust the SAS to do that.

If only there were more like it

I did hear of some our local AJ's doing the same at Cas Square when the so called Cas boys attempted to rob an old lady there. As the story goes the thieves were a bit sore.

haha good on em, the other one similar to that ive heard was a trooper was out for a walk with his missus and some dirtbag walking his dog tried to mug them, so the trooper beat 6 shades of shite out of him and tied him up with the dog leash, dog attached and all.

Can we just take the warning stickers off everything and let natural selection take its place, I mean if its spinning fast dont put your fingers in it..... Its not hard

what a load of poop.
first of all, "toys for tots"is a yank military initiative.
and ive read the same story when training with the yanks about 4 years ago, the difference being they were reffering to a green beret, seen one about a delta force one as well.
