What's your thoughts on a Diawa Heartland XA? Are they good?? Do they last?

Hi mate,

I have had a Daiwa Teirra reel for 4 years now and it has caught uber fish and plenty of them. Barra through to Tuna and is a bl..dy good reel. It is a level below the Heartland series so I can 't see any reason why the Heartland will not be better.

I have all Daiwa now, baitcasters and threadlines, except one sentimental Shimano Stradic. The drags are better, they are more durable, better line capacity for the same size reel and no wind knots on the threadlines. End of the day though, it is your money. Just letting you know I have had no issues with my Daiwa's and have been very happy with all of their products.

Cheers,

I prefer the shimano range now , had a couple of high end Daiwa reels , and went back to shimano.
