Re: Air bed advice
better off buying a cheap swag for around $100.00
will last for years 10+ with no care what so ever.

Re: Air bed advice
I got three from BCF (two singles & 1 double) three years ago, with the camp stretchers and they are going great guns, no problems at all.

Can we just take the warning stickers off everything and let natural selection take its place, I mean if its spinning fast dont put your fingers in it..... Its not hard

Coleman bigfoot are a good option. I'm 2m tall and weigh 100kg and the Coleman doesn't deflate, also had no dramas with it being punctured by every day wear and tear.
Oztrail stretcher beds are also a good alternative.

I just use a 25mm foam cusion and a sheet. Doesn't go flat, you don't have to blow it up and stacks away nicely under floor.

Re: Air bed advice
Kids be ok on a double mattress but if there is 2 blokes sleeping on one it's pretty hard to getting sleep as every time some one moves the whole air mattress rocks and rolls I have a big one in the boat that 3 fellas can crash out on I also have one of those inflatable foam mattresses they you leave in the sun and te foam expands from 20mm to about 60mm thick and pretty comfy to
Just boat a couple of hammocks for this trip tommorow so see how they go over the next 4 days

Re: Air bed advice
Mrs just got me an aerobed pak mat. She bought it for me to sleep in the boat. Rolls up into a canister about 12cmx40cm and the canister is the pump which takes about a minute to blow up.
It has a video on utube which has a good description of it

make sure it has internal foam insert and not just air - much more comfortable. BCF has some nice ones
