Breaking in the new boat
Went for a look at a new spot 110 klm NE yeppoon sat night well the boat got cristened . red emporer between 580 to 950 , large mouth nanigi , green job fish and red throught emporer ,spangeled emporer from when we stoped it was on 2 hr flat out lost count of how meany reds through back between 500 and 580 mate was catching nanigi on his side i was in redemporer heaven . arms have streched . 56mts water long way after 2hrs flat out fishing so was about to have a sleep and seen a squid at back of boat so hung a jig out and when we got up for change of tide we had a squid on about 500 long .then it was back into the reds after a hour or so they went off the bite so it was park up time . the morning started with some spangeled emporer and red throught. glad i took the big esky . great way to break in the boat

great stuff keith, visited Yeppoon a few times, nice looking water.
Good to know there are some quality fish to be had off there as well, might have to talk to friends about going out next time.
